Happy Easter!

The exclamation mark implies that I am more energetic and peppy than I really am. In reality, I'm tired and a little depressed. Specific Sad Thing happened over break, but I'm not blogging about it until certain folks have been notified. Beyond that, things went well. Grubbs charmed my parents. We got some studying done. My mom made turkey for Easter dinner and I saw a few relatives I haven't seen in a while. Then I drove home and slept for two hours.

My room is ungodly hot for no apparent reason. Like, 80 degrees according to the thermostat thermometer thingie. And no, my heat is not on. I can't figure out why my room always gets so warm. Also, my window doesn't open properly (still!). So I've got the fan on, and the window is cracked open, but I can't open it any farther, nor can I close it without much difficulty. So it's staying like that.

I have the urge to waste my time playing video games tonight. Screw studying. Screw reading. I wanna reinstall Final Fantasy VIII on my old laptop and play for several hours. I've heard lots of people saying mean things about that game, and while I realize it's not exactly the most wonderful thing in the world, it's still pretty fun. And the graphics are pretty.

So I'm going to go do that, I think. Here's to lack of motivation!
