Dyeing yarn with kool-aid is lotsa fun. Made my entire basement smell like fruit, tho. Not necessarily a bad thing, but there it is. I figure I could even do it in my dorm room some time, so long as I'm careful not to spill the stuff on anything white or plastic (ended up with a turkey baster that is now an interesting shade of orange-pink). Anyway, I now have a skein of yarn that is mostly orange, a little pink, and a little tiny bit white (where the dye didn't quite reach). It'll be a cute hat.
I've got quite a few knitting projects going at one time. I've got about 20 rows of a scarf to go for my sister, a second armwarmer to make for Erin, sock yarn that's waiting for me to get smaller needles, and now a hat. It's fun, tho. Good way to relax and get some time to think while pretending to be productive.
