My hands are tinged blue-green, and my nails are just plain ol' blue, all due to my using Kool Aid to dye some more yarn (this time for a bag I plan to make and line with some satiny Asian-print fabric). I wound a ball of fishermans' wool into four hanks, dyed three blue (berry blue + a bit of grape) and one green (lemon-lime). Also, my hands are really dry from washing them so many times to try and get the color off. I'm thinking maybe nail polish remover?
The plan for tomorrow includes going to Albertville with Amber for a while, then... I dunno. Cleaning? Bah, I hate cleaning.
My parents have been looking more seriously at houses. They've decided that we're moving sometime in June, to somewhere up in northern Minnesota, probably somewhere in the Iron Range, like Hibbing or Grand Rapids or Virginia. Katie's upset about it. She hates small towns. Me, I'm pleased. I'd spend the rest of my life in Bemidji and environs if I could. I like quiet places. Maybe there's not as much opportunity or culture there, but there's peace and quiet and good people around. I'll miss things like going to St. Cloud to shop, but I can do that in other places, too. Duluth, maybe. We'll see what happens. There's about 9 months until anything's final.
