I think I hear the sound of our dear friend Grubbs moving in as I type. He's got the room right above mine. Think I should go bug him/offer to help? Mayhap.
I feel overly productive today. I got my textbooks ($300 worth of em, 16 books in total), picked up job applications, suddenly became one of the editors of the Rivers Meeting Project, and got Res Life to fix my voice mail password so that it works now. Yay me!
However, I also got an e-mail today saying that my cousin's grandmother is very ill and will probably pass away soon. She used to live up here in the Bemidji-Cass Lake area, and I met her a couple times. Anyway, it's sad. She's in Chicago at a nursing home right now. So there may be a funeral coming up in the next week or two.
That's about all for now. I'm gonna go see whether Grubbs really is there and if so, what he's up to (probably unpacking). Adieu.
Edit: Nope, doesn't seem to be him. Ah well. On the upside, he's apparently been promoted; the sign on his door says Corporal Grubbs. :)
