All sorts o' new stuff

I finally decided which new pair of shoes to get: these, in black and silver. They're a little sportier than I really wanted, but according to the reviews here, they're super-comfy.

Also, I'm almost done knitting Erin's armwarmers. I've got about six more rows of knitting to do, and then I've got to weave in all the loose ends, which from past experience I know will take a good couple of hours. So that's my weekend project. Fun, no?

Last but not least, I also got the last of my textbooks today in the mail. They are: Fear and Trembling by Søren Kierkegaard (with a semi-disturbing closeup of Caravaggio's The Sacrifice of Issac on the cover), and Indian Philosophy: A Very Short Introduction. Both for philosophy classes. I have to get a start on Fear and Trembling this weekend since I have to read the whole thing for class, so I'm glad it came in.

That's been my weekend so far. Kinda boring. We'll see if it livens up (livens? Is that a word?). Later.
