Realizations

I know a few more things after this weekend:
-For all their weirdness, my extended family can be pretty cool
-I missed my cousins Mike and Michelle a lot more than I realized (Mike, if you read this after you get home, IM me or something)
-Small children simultaneously grow up too fast and don't grow up fast enough
-I'm still not good with kids, even though I love the ones I'm related to
-Not much good in medical emergencies, either
-I'm not the only one who is confused when it comes to relationships
-I'm not a wimp when it comes to people I care about
-Life can be difficult and scary, and it helps to have a strong support network of friends and family
-It is hard to protect my privacy without being vague (heh)
