For a good cause

I skipped class today. I don't feel bad about it. It was People and the Environment, after all.

So this afternoon I came back to my room to wait for Erin and Grubbs to get out of class. While I was sitting around contemplating homework, Simon came by and told me to come with him to the piano. So I followed him, and got my very own personal concert. After a while, Erin and Grubbs came in, too, and after Simon was finished (he's really really talented, by the way), he went upstairs and Grubbs, Erin, and I went downtown. The idea was to get some red hair dye, but Outerworld didn't have any. So after looking around there for a while, we walked down the street to the chocolate shop.

Now, I never knew that there was a chocolate shop in downtown Bemidji. But there is. And it is FABULOUS. They were selling a pound and a half of fudge for $8.98. So the three of us chipped in three dollars each and bought some to split amongst ourselves. And believe me, it is good fudge. I now know where to go when I need to buy little presents for people... mmm...

Anyway... after that, we all came back to my room. Grubbs had backup orange hair dye, so Erin did his hair for him while we watched The Princess Bride. And we ate fudge, and it was fun.

Now, I need to get some homework done, have some real food, and then go off to knit for a while. So... love to y'all! I'll be around later.
