Remember that post a couple days ago where I mentioned the hailstorm in Socorro? Well... I just happened to run across some pictures of the wreckage... my dear god... This lot is one of the places where I used to park my truck. I used to live in this building, too, and park my truck in that lot as well. The building in this picture is where my friend Chris used to live (he's in Washington state now); I used to go watch TV over with him and his roommate. Besides all the damage to cars and such, one of the things that's really sad is that a lot of the buildings on campus were built in a traditional mission style, and hence had red clay tile roofs... and with hailstones this big, a lot of the roofs were just completely destroyed... Some of those buildings have been around since the 1800's... it's so sad to see them like that.
