Some idiot set a potato on fire at the front desk in Linden. It smells like.... a burning potato. Grr... funny, the smoke alarm didn't go off. Gee, I feel so safe in this building...
I'm bored. I'm nearly done with my mitten. I've just got to finish the thumb, and then weave all the ends in, and it'll be ready to wear. Yay!
Then I should pack my things so I can leave early-ish tomorrow for home. I don't wanna go, but at least I know that I'm not the only one pet-sitting this weekend.
Also, I just got off the phone with my mother a little bit ago, and she says that one of my old friends from high school just decided to join the Air Force. She's leaving sometime around Thanksgiving. I'm concerned, I guess... I hate thinking about people I care about going off somewhere and possibly being killed. Argh...
