Orange soda is the best thing ever. Seriously.
Another day gone and what do I have to show for it? Naught but happy memories. And ice cream.
Alicia gave me yarn for to make her mittens with. Which means I must finish the second pair post-haste and get a start on hers soon. Mittens are super-easy to make, so it's all cool. Also, gotta finish my pretty ribbon scarf, as I am under orders from Tammi to make something nice for myself. And it IS pretty. And fun to knit, what with the intentional dropping of stitches to make a pattern and such. I'm tempted to work on it right now, but I know that I've got homework to do and sleep to... sleep. And I also know that I haven't slept much any night this week, so I might wanna take care of that.
I've got a poem to post, but I think that'll wait until after classes tomorrow. No patience for typing and formatting and such tonight. Just get the words down, all the words, and focus on prettification later. Right? That's how poetry comes. Not in pretty packages, but in raw, fresh-hewn words cut straight from the soul.
Heh... I wax exceedingly poetic when I'm tired. Please forgive. I also make terrible jokes, which I believe Simon would attest to.
