Poem of the day

I hade my own rainforest as a child,
A once-manicured rock garden
Now overgrown with juniper and grass.
We watered the bushes and watched the water
Trickling in rivers between the rocks
Dripping off the leaves of my imagined immense ferns.

Just a little something I wrote in the student union today before poetry class.

Oh, and a note to Froyd-- proprietor of Froyd.net-- who might read this some day:
Love the blog, love the site, you made me giggle and clap my hands at my computer like a schoolgirl last night. Thank you.

Gotta go get casserole stuff. Bye.
