Lovely day

It's been one of the better days I've had in a while. One class cancelled, lots of sitting around and hanging out with people, beautiful weather... Today things are looking up. All serious disasters have been averted.

So now what? I've got a poem to write for class tomorrow. Turns out that my first class tomorrow is cancelled, so I don't have to go to bed for a while. Which means I'll sit here longer than is prudent, trying to come up with something intelligent to say. Such is life. If all else fails, I could turn in a little thing I wrote for an in-class exercise that we didn't hand in. It goes like this:

I am here to be confused.
I am here to look through crystals.
I am here to jump through windows.
I am here to walk on water.
I am here to tune the strings.

Might make a good start for a poem, at least. And, cuz I have nothing better to do, here's the one I wrote for last week:

Tea Ceremony
Two cups
One kettle
Hot water
Loose leaves
Sugar bowl
Silver spoon
You pour
We sip
As one

Yeah... poetry class. Gotta love it.
