Sounds in the dark

There are loons calling out on the lake tonight. That's something I'd never hear back home. At home the lake is a good two or three blocks from my house, and too near the road to have any birds but seagulls on it anyway. But tonight I've seen a rainbow and hear the loons laughing and for a brief moment everything is perfect.
