All I wanted was...

A shelf. More specifically, a shelf approximately two feet high, 20" wide and 20" deep to set my minifridge on, so I could have it up higher and still have storage underneath, as dorm rooms are always lacking proper storage space.

When I woke up this morning, I had a shelf. More specifically, I had a baker's rack, complete with shelves, drawers, and little wire racks for various kitchen supplies. Apparently my parents went out shopping while I was still in bed (not surprising, since they are morning people and I'm.... not). It's much nicer than anything I had envisioned getting. Dad and I spent a couple hours this afternoon assembling it, and now it's sitting in our garage for the next couple weeks until I'm ready to move. Gotta love my parents. :)

Also, I started sorting my dorm stuff today. So far I've whittled out about five boxes of stuff that I'm either throwing out or just not taking back to Bemidji. I forgot just how many books I actually own. I have a good start on my own personal library.
