Who cares that it was cloudy and cool all day? And drizzly. I love this sort of weather. I've never been a fan of summer, especially August, so when it starts acting like October, it makes me very happy.
I bought some furry feathery yarn today, to add to the kitty hat I'm planning on knitting for my sister. It's mostly going to be made of wool dyed pink and orange with Kool-Aid, but I figure a little bit of furry stuff would make it more fun. I might even make the ties out of the same stuff. We'll see...
I still have to dye the wool, too... maybe tomorrow. It takes some effort and apparently makes your kitchen smell like oversweet, preservative- and chemical-laden fruit mixed with vinegar. Or something like that. Not sure my parents will appreciate that, but oh, well. If it's still nice and cool out, we can open the windows.
