This is not a blogworthy day.

I haven't done much in a couple days. Mostly, I've been getting my stuff packed to go to Bemidji. I've gone through every box I brought back, sorted out stuff, and repacked it all. The next step is to go through my room and pick out everything that I want to bring up with me, and box the rest up so it can be stored and my mom can use my room as a guest bedroom when I leave. This is both enjoyable and a little sad at the same time. I'm looking forward to going back, but it really makes me realize that it's not my room or really even my house anymore. I'm kind of an extended houseguest. Ah, well... eventually I'll get a place of my very own.

The other thing I've been doing is writing. Yes, writing. Fantasy writing, even. Not on the computer, tho... I've got an old notebook sitting by my bed and I've been trying to add a little more to the story every night or two before I go to sleep. This probably makes for some fairly incoherent writing, but at least I'm DOING something. I might even post the first bit to the Sci Fi/Fantasy Blog sometime soon, like once I get it done, I guess. The storyline is a bit generic, but at least it's on paper.

Ah, yes, I'm also knitting more. Katie and I went shopping today and I found a bunch of good yarn on sale, so I bought enough of a very nice dark bluish-green Homespun yarn to make a sweater for myself (eventually), a big skein of fishermen's wool that I plan on dyeing to make a bag, and three skeins of Fun Fur in a rainbow colorway. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with that stuff, but it was on sale and it just looked so pretty sitting there in all it's many-colored glory... It's a nice soft eyelash yarn, and I was thinking that if I got a plain-colored yarn to give it structure (maybe black wool or something?), it might look pretty cool as a big fuzzy scarf. Maybe that'll be a project for when I get back to Bemidji.

That's about all. Check back in a day or two and I might have something interesting to say. Nite, y'all.
