A 440

I want to learn to tune pianos. It's all well and good that I'm an English major and a writer. But there's a part of me that is urging me to learn some sort of marketable skill, some way to make money even if I can't get published or find a job or whatever. Plus, it's so much more enjoyable to play a well-tuned instrument. I'm not terribly talented at the piano or anything, but I like to play and I like it to sound good.

Problem is, piano tuning school (or even an at-home course) is expensive. Same price as a regular semester of college. Sigh. Plus, the only schools I can find in Minnesota are in White Bear Lake and Red Wing. Nowhere close to Bemidji.

Blast it all, I'm tired. Time to put away wishful thinking and go to sleep.
