So I'm back from a wonderful weekend spent in Duluth. I have a very nice (mild, thank God) sunburn to show for it, too. My friend Nick is housesitting for a friend's parents for two weeks, so I went up and spent the weekend with him, wandering around Duluth and just generally getting away from Bemidji for a while.
So we spent a bunch of time walking the Lake Walk, shopping, eating at nice, non-chain restaurants, visiting the mall (with the gigantic bookstore, yay!), watching a movie, and just generally exhausting me. But man oh man, that was a good time. Exactly the kind of break from monotony that I needed.
Can I go back? Please? I promise I'll be good...
