A tale from Bizarro Land

How do I know that there are way too many cats in my house? My dog has learned how to purr. I'm not kidding, either. Katie was sitting on the sofa petting Sylver, and suddenly she started making a rumbly sound, completely different from how she growls. When Katie stopped petting her, the rumbling stopped, and when she started again, the dog started purring again. It's really really funny to hear.
