The sky is falling!

So I figured out why I saw a meteor last night. It's the Perseid meteor shower, which will peak on August 12. But it'll be going from July 23-August 22. Nearly a month. Plenty of time to get out and watch the stars. Maybe we should have a Perseid party if the weather is nice? Sit out on the roof and watch bits of rock streaming to their dooms?
