I just made the most wonderful thing i've eaten in a long time. It's kinda like rice pudding, but without the pudding part... recipe as follows:
3/4 cup instant rice + 3/4 cup water, microwaved for about 5 minutes (until done)
Add to that: a handful of raisins, a tablespoon or so of butter, brown sugar and cinnamon to taste, plus a splash of milk.
Best. Dinner. EVER.
